A medical fitness certificate is an essential document verifying that the applicant is free from communicable diseases. It is required by law for all expatriates applying for a new UAE residence visa or renewing an existing one.
The test must be completed after receiving the entry permit and before visa stamping or Emirates ID registration. Examinations are carried out at DHA-approved medical fitness centres, with results processed and submitted electronically to the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA).
Dar Alnukhba Customer Care Center manages your residence visa application, coordinates the medical fitness process, and ensures that results are submitted seamlessly as part of the official visa procedure.

A 2-year investor visa in the UAE is an official residency permit issued to property owners whose real estate investment in Dubai is valued at AED 750,000 or more at the time of purchase. The visa is processed through the Dubai Land Department (Taskeen) and approved by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA). It allows investors to reside legally in the UAE, access government services, and sponsor family members.
The examination includes mandatory tests under DHA regulations:
— Blood test: Screening for HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis B & C
— Chest X-ray: Screening for active pulmonary tuberculosis
These tests cover all categories of residence visa applicants. Additional screenings may apply for specific professions, such as food handlers or domestic workers.
